Study on Control Strategy of Tower-type Solar Heliostat Field Concentrator System

Established the solar motion model based on the characteristics of solar motion and geometrical optics theory to realize the accurate calculation of solar angle through the simulation of heliostat field at certain times in Delingha city.
Derived the control command of one-sided heliostat using Monte Carlo ray tracing method and studied the effect of atmospheric refractive index on the solar angle of incidence to derive the height error of heliostat, and carried out simulation and experimental verification.
Analyzed the influencing factors of heliostat field’s light-gathering efficiency, simulated the fluxgraph using LightTools and proposed an economically efficient control strategy of concentrator system including rational utilization of the highefficiency area and regular maintenance and cleaning of the low-efficiency area.
